Letizia’s leadership consulting is a rare

Diverse business experience is the foundation of Letizia’s results-oriented approach. Her leadership development is done within the context of the larger organization, taking into account long-term business goals and strategic direction to ensure individuals and teams are aligned with business needs.

Her creative and intuitive vision is evident in a powerful and engaging leadership development technique she created called Visiva LeadershipTM, which builds high performing leaders and teams by driving deeper thinking and stimulating more open and personal conversations about leadership.

She brings a global mindset to her work, drawing on the cultural sensitivity gained from her international experience. She has designed and delivered leadership development programs around the world for executives and leadership teams.


A business executive for 25+ years, Letizia has extensive experience in corporate development, business transformation, strategic alliance creation, and government relations.

Most recently, she was VP, Strategic Alliances for Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute. Previously, she held multiple executive roles at GlaxoSmithKline, including VP & Global Head of Employee Value Proposition, VP & Head of R&D Leadership Culture, and VP, Strategy, Operation and Alliance Management for Worldwide Business Development. Prior to joining GSK, she was an independent consultant in the cardiovascular therapeutic area for SmithKline Beecham, where she created the company’s first template for a strategic alliances function. She was the principal of AXTEN-Health Corporation, an international case management, consulting and referral service. Prior to AXTEN, she was pharmaceutical specialist-consultant for The World Bank, where she created public/private alliances to reform the pharmaceutical sector in emerging economies.


Letizia is an International Coach Federation certified coach, and holds advanced certifications from the Teleos Leadership Institute and in Hogan leadership assessments.

She is certified by the Assisi Institute in Archetypal Pattern Analysis, and is a member of the CG Jung Foundation, Depth Psychology Alliance, Association of Talent Development, and the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations.

She is a member of the Coaching Tribe at The Honor Foundation, a unique career transition institute for Navy SEALs and Special Operators, and a member of Springboard’s Life Science Council, acting as an advisor to their programs.


Letizia holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from University of La Sapienza and Master of Herbal Medicine from University of Urbino.

Her interest in the underlying drivers of business success led her to shift from profit center focus to organizational and leadership development, with further personal development in psychology.
