Jay Srini | Founder & CEO, SCS Ventures

Ms. Jay Srini MS, MBA, FHIMSS served as Chief Innovation Officer of KEW Group LLC. Ms. Srini is the Founder, Chief Strategist and President of Strategic Consulting Solutions at SCS Ventures. Ms. Srini is working with startup companies to help them with the business development and expansion. She has more than 20 years of operational, technology and executive leadership experience.

Previously, she was a Managing Director for e-health initiatives at Internet Venture Works, where she led technology and industry assessments of opportunities presented by strategic partners, investors and external sources and also served in interim executive management roles for its’ portfolio companies. In addition, Ms. Srini has worked at Highmark Blue Cross, where she was responsible for developing and executing strategies focused on products and solutions for consumer health management. As an Independent Consultant, she designed and implemented one of the earliest electronic healthcare claims submission systems in 1982. She serves as a Director of SpectraMD USA, Inc. and iCache Incorporated.

Ms. Srini serves as Member of Advisory Board of SymphonyCare. Ms. Srini serves as Member of Advisory Board of Symphony Corporation, LogicLibrary, Inc. and Health Enterprise Partners. She also serves on the Advisory Boards of several entrepreneurial companies, nonprofit healthcare organizations and as the Commissioners at Certification Commission of HealthCare Information Technology. Ms. Srini serves as Member of Advisory Board at Institute for Health Technology Transformation. She is Adjunct Assistant Professor of SHRS University of Pittsburgh. Previously, she served as the Chief Innovation Officer at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Insurance Services Division and as a Vice President of Emerging Technologies providing strategic direction and input regarding emerging technologies and solutions to UPMC and its insurances subsidiary. She is an active Board Member of HIMSS, Pennsylvania e-Health Initiative, MIT Forum, Rainbow Kitchen Community Services and Charter member of TIE Pittsburgh. Ms. Srini earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from New York University and an M.B.A. from Bucknell University. She also completed executive education at the Kellogg School of Management.
