Job Description: Program Associate
Springboard Enterprises’ Program Associate will support the successful planning and execution of enterprise programs, including the Healthcare and Technology Innovation Program, Women’s Health Innovation Program, and any other industry verticals that may be developed in the future. The Program Associate will work closely and collaboratively with the Programs team and report directly to the Director of Programs. This is a fully remote position (aside from occasional event travel).
The Programs Associate will support the coordination of all associated logistics and communications to ensure successful program operations. S/he is an excellent project manager, liaising across and outside the organization, as needed to provide value to internal and external stakeholders.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain internal and external details in support of program operations, including bootcamp, workshops, Council meetings and contributions/involvement by Springboard’s network of advisors, vendors and partners.
- Manage the Programs Calendar and appropriate publishing of programs events both internally and externally, in coordination with marketing.
- Oversee and proactively manage Springboard’s prospect pipeline:
- Research and document emerging trends, entrepreneurs, innovators and early companies.
- Field and respond to prospect referrals and inquiries.
- Maintain database of pipeline organizations and provide regular updates to programs leadership.
- Assist in securing appropriate applicants for each program.
- Work with the marketing team to draft related program materials for internal and external distribution, including program binders, presentation materials, meeting agendas and materials, and program feedback forms.
- Work with the marketing team to draft program-related communications, including recruitment e-blasts, advisor correspondence, newsletters, event brochures and requests for promotion of publications and events from partners.
- Assist in coordinating with venues, vendors and key attendees for in-person and virtual meetings, events and workshops, and brief team on status.
- Demonstrate ability to understand, grow and apply body of knowledge in health care, life sciences, venture investing and related industries to appropriately research and document emerging trends, opportunities and potential partners.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (public health, business, communications, etc.) and demonstrated professional responsibility. Other desired competencies include:
- 1 year + work experience a plus and east coast time zone preferred
- Consistent and reliable in personal and professional presentation.
- Excellent project management, planning and organization skills.
- Professional written and verbal communicator, some level of comfort with speaking publicly, presenting information and/or confidently addressing groups.
- Solutions-oriented, willing to demonstrate flexibility in times of ambiguity or changing circumstances.
- Biased toward action and improvement, able to facilitate multiple simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Some travel required.
