Kate Liebelt serves as Life Sciences and Health Care Manager at Deloitte, where she was previously Chief of Staff for Deloitte’s U.S. Health Care Provider Consulting practice. In this role she supports practice operations, investments, and strategic initiatives around innovation and global healthcare.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Kate served as President of the largest chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (www.ache.org), based in Chicago. Leading an organization of 2,000 members taught Kate valuable lessons early in her career regarding servant leadership, the value and awesome potential of networking, and strategy.
Ms. Liebelt spent the first 11 years of her career in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, supporting R&D initiatives at Baxter Healthcare Corp., Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and TAP Pharmaceutical Products, Inc., and the Washington U. in St. Louis Office of Technology Management / Medical School.
Kate is a published author and lecturer, and frequently delivers presentations on emerging trends in life sciences and healthcare, and career planning strategies. She earned a BA in economics and a minor in business administration from Washington University in Saint Louis. Kate lived in the Asia-Pacific region for 6 years and speaks conversational Japanese. Kate splits time between Chicago and New York, and loves social entrepreneurship, writing, traveling, macrobiotic cooking, and yoga.
