Julie Murchinson is the Chief Executive Officer of Health Evolution Summit, which anchors an extensive network of CEO’s and commercial leaders from around the globe and across the health industry. Created by Health Evolution Partners, Health Evolution serves as a central place to trade industry ideas, share advice, form partnerships and do deals that will continue to shape health care.
With over 20 years in health IT policy and management consulting, executive roles within commercial companies and not-for-profits, her unique approach addresses cross-industry opportunities to make personalized health a reality. Her work has pioneered industry-leading health IT methodologies, specialinterest collaborations and perspectives on privacy, security, and consumer rights in health care delivery, community-based health, consumerism and philanthropy.
Prior to Health Evolution, Julie was Managing Director at Manatt Health Solutions, the policy and strategy advisory division of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips, where she advised clients on health information strategies. Julie previously co-founded and led Object Health, a boutique management consulting group acquired by Manatt. Concurrently, Julie co-founded the Health 2.0 Accelerator, a notfor-profit association to advance consumer-centric health care by driving integration of technology and the consumer experience across a network of new and established companies. Previously, Julie was Vice President of Services at CareScience, a leading provider of care management technology and services to hospitals and provider communities. Julie was also with Deloitte Consulting and launched her career with Ernst & Young.
Julie earned her BA in Business Management & Accounting from Franklin and Marshall College and MBA in Healthcare and Operations Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Julie is an advisor to the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) Catalyst Program for the Development of Digital Health at UCSF, Health Connect South, and is a member of the Life Science Council at Springboard Enterprise. She serves on the Boards of Zero Divide and Health 2.0 Advocates and sits on Advisory Boards for Pacific Data Medical Systems and Beyond Lucid Technologies.
