Julie Murchinson is the Chief Executive Officer of Health Evolution which connects the industry’s most influential leaders to inspire forward-thinking ideas and scalable solutions to improve health and health care for us all.
With over 25 years in health IT policy and management consulting and executive roles in commercial companies and not-for-profits, her unique approach addresses cross-industry opportunities to drive health that is personalized, technology-enabled and compassionate. In addition to a decade of convening the top leaders in the industry to drive progress, she has pioneered industry-leading health IT methodologies, special-interest collaborations and perspectives on privacy, security, and consumer rights in health care delivery, community-based health, consumerism and philanthropy.
Prior to Health Evolution, Julie was Managing Director at Manatt Health Solutions, the policy and strategy advisory division of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips where she concurrently co-founded the Health 2.0 Accelerator, a not-for-profit association to advance consumer-centric health care. Prior to that, she co-founded and led Object Health, a boutique management consulting group acquired by Manatt. Previously, Julie was Vice President of Services at CareScience, a care management solution, with Deloitte Consulting and launched her career with Ernst & Young.
Julie received her MBA in Healthcare and Operations Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her BA in Business Management & Accounting from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Julie serves on the Board of Health 2.0 Advocates and is on the Life Science Council of Springboard Enterprise. She is also a member of the Advisory Boards of Myokardia and Beyond Lucid Technologies as well as on the Leadership Council for Franklin & Marshall College.
