Mito Yamada

COO at One Tallawah

Mito Yamada is Chief Operating Officer of One Tallawah. She has spent nearly twenty years in finance and M&A across beauty, luxury and consumer retail. At Shiseido she was Vice President of Global Mergers and Acquisitions. At Powered Brands, a consumer and beauty-focused SPAC, she was Chief Operating Officer and led all phases of M&A as the sole full-time team member. Earlier she ran business planning in finance at Louis Vuitton and began her career in UBS Investment Bank’s Global Consumer Products and Retail group. Since 2023 she has advised corporate and private equity clients independently on M&A, strategy, finance and operations across beauty, personal care, wellness and retail.

She holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a BA in international relations and French from Tufts.

One Tallawah is a bioresponsive wellness company. Its first product is a wearable garment that delivers evidence-based recovery modalities — far infrared heat, red and near-infrared light, PEMF and cold — daily and untethered, adapting each session to the person wearing it.
