Tim Dobyns, founder and managing director for Moventra LLC, is passionate about encouraging and supporting cities, government, private and public social sector organizations in community engagement, operational excellence, strategy, insights and culture.
His passion for Community building, strategy and culture can be traced back to his early days at Centenary College and Louisiana State University. While exploring a unique mix of Church Carrere’s, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Tim and his classmates spent late nights discussing theology, community and civic planning to the backdrop of fellowship, music and strategic board games.
With thirty plus years developing, marketing, growing, operating and selling successful businesses, Tim has a unique first-hand perspective. His experience ranges from start up, development and operation of privately held companies as well as turnaround, M&A and full P&L responsibilities for large scale global public companies like Siemens.
Tim’s extensive education and training consist of domestic and international business finance, operations, change management, lean project management, procurement, logistics, quality, sales and marketing, compliance, human resource, lean production and operational excellence programming. His achievements include participation in Siemens prestigious Executive Leadership Framework Program including the successful completion of Siemens Leadership Advanced Management Academy curriculum.
