Debra-WaltonDebra Walton is Global Managing Director, Customer Proposition at Thomson Reuters Financial and Risk. Her team is responsible for our DataScope suite of offerings and the ongoing product management, development, operations, sales and marketing for all our non streaming pricing and reference data which is delivered to our Financial & Risk customers globally. In addition to her day-to-day business responsibilities Debra is an executive sponsor of the Thomson Reuters Women’s network.

Debra has been a member of the Thomson Reuters senior management team since 2003 and has held a number of Senior Management roles including President of Global Accounts, Managing Director and Global Head of the Investment Banking Division and Managing Director, Global Sales Specialists. She was the founder of the firm’s Global Customer Advisory Board a forum which brings C-level customers together with Thomson Reuter’s executive leadership team to guide the firm’s strategic business and product agenda.

Debra is a veteran of the financial services industry; prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Debra has held senior executive roles at Cantor Fitzgerald, Nucleus Financial and Dow Jones Telerate.

In addition to her business roles, Debra is active in a number of financial industry and community based organizations. She is an active Board member of the Women’s Refugee Commission – a non-profit organization serving refugee women and children globally. Debra also serves as an advisory board member to Springboard, a New York based non-profit organization which brings together entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts to help women bring their business plans to market and realize their business expansion plans.

She is a recipient of a number of industry awards including the prestigious New York Women’s Agenda Galaxy award and the Women’s Venture Funds Highest Leaf Award.

Debra is an avid golfer and sailor. She lives in Connecticut with her husband Marc.
