Amanda Gorman is a board-certified nurse practitioner turned health tech entrepreneur. She founded Nest Collaborative in 2017, a national women’s telehealth platform and a pioneer in payer-reimbursed lactation telehealth, which she grew from bootstrap through Series A funding, expanding to partnerships with health systems across the country.
Her tenacity in securing private and Medicaid payer coverage for women and families helped pave the way for many women’s health companies to follow. Amanda now spends her time consulting and working with a variety of female-led digital health companies in the space.
She is a graduate of Columbia University and UCSF’s School of Nursing and holds an additional degree in Psychology and Math from Fordham University. A New Jersey native, Amanda currently lives in Connecticut with her husband and two children, happy to have their extended family just down the road.
