Daphna Mokady, PhD, MBA, is a biotech executive, strategic advisor, and mentor with two decades of experience across biomedical research and biotechnology. She has led multidisciplinary teams advancing innovative regenerative medicine therapeutics from discovery through early clinical development, with expertise spanning R&D, fundraising, and strategic leadership.
Throughout her career, Daphna has collaborated with investors, pharmaceutical companies, CROs, academic partners, and executive teams, contributing to fundraising efforts totalling more than $35 million.
Passionate about supporting founders and strengthening the health innovation ecosystem, Daphna founded Women in STEM Toronto (WSTEM TO), led mentoring initiatives for women in science and entrepreneurship, and actively builds connections across the healthtech community.
She particularly enjoys helping scientific founders translate complex innovation into compelling stories for investors, partners, and customers while developing focused strategies that create long-term value.
