Hema Mandlekar is the founder and CEO of LumosFit Inc. in San Jose, CA, a company focused on developing an AI-powered coach designed to support behavior change for individuals with prediabetes. Before founding LumosFit in 2022, Hema held senior engineering and leadership roles at several prominent technology companies. From 2018 to 2022, she was a Senior Software Engineer in Camera Software at Apple in Cupertino, CA. Prior to that, she served as Director of Technology for AR/VR at GridRaster Inc. (2016–2018), Staff Software Engineer in Video Coding at Harmonic Inc. (2013–2015), Senior Software Engineer in Image Processing at Cisco (2010–2013), and Software Engineer positions focused on image processing and video coding at Coherent Logix and Lifesize Communications between 2003 and 2009.
