Maggie Conway is the Director of Enterprise Strategy and New Ventures at WPS Health Solutions, where she leads the development of line of business growth strategies, divestiture plans, and product level strategies across an $800 million revenue portfolio. Her work spans health plan strategy, product innovation, and long range market positioning.
Within the New Ventures corporate venture function, Maggie is responsible for monitoring emerging trends in the healthcare, digital health, and venture investing ecosystems. She sources and evaluates investment opportunities as a strategic limited partner in early stage digital health funds, and she identifies and executes acquisition opportunities that align with WPS’s broader growth agenda. Her notable strategic achievements include the acquisition of Mavida Health, a virtual women’s therapy clinic, and WPS’s limited partner investment in HealthX Ventures. Her role at WPS includes developing Mavida’s multi-state expansion and business development strategies. New Ventures’ thematic focus areas currently include women’s health, agetech, healthspan and longevity, and caregiving solutions.
Maggie’s career spans roles across major healthcare organizations. She spent five years at UnitedHealth Group within the Optum Advisory practice, specializing in health plan strategy and product innovation. She also served as Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy and Transformation at Inovalon, supporting the Payer business line with a focus on business development, sales strategy, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
She is skilled in board level communications, executive presentation development, investment business case creation, and designing end to end growth strategies. Maggie is based in Boise, Idaho.
