Shilpa Patel is a national leader in healthcare innovation and quality improvement, with experience designing, implementing, and optimizing clinical care and digital health. She currently serves as the Managing Director of Innovation and Product Strategy at the American College of Cardiology. In this role, she leads ACC’s Innovation Portfolio, focusing on the digital transformation of care delivery by developing programs and products with strategic partners to support clinicians and patients.
In previous roles at ACC, Shilpa launched several national quality initiatives and patient-centered programs with health systems, accelerating the adoption of evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines. Throughout her tenure at ACC, she has collaborated with health systems to design and implement innovative, quality, and technology-driven initiatives that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiencies.
Prior to joining ACC, she worked as a marketing associate for the Advisory Board Company.
Shilpa is a graduate of Auburn University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers.
