Piyali Chakraborty is the Founder and CEO of Ashmi Health. She holds a PhD in Food Technology and spent a decade pioneering research in personalized nutrition. When her own pregnancy ended with her newborn in the NICU, that scientific lens turned personal: she saw a maternal care system that waited for emergencies rather than preventing them, and failed women of color the most. She founded Ashmi Health to close that gap: a voice-first, offline-capable platform delivering proactive high-risk pregnancy support to rural and underserved communities.
