Dr. Vinona Bhatia is a healthcare operator and investor with deep expertise in oncology and
digital health innovation. Following her clinical practice as an oncologist at UCSF and Kaiser,
she spent over a decade in pharma strategy and startup leadership, including roles on Roche’s
Global Oncology team and as CMO and CEO of digital health companies.
As Founder of Partnering for Cancer Innovation, Vinona works with early-stage oncology
companies on clinical strategy, go-to-market planning, and navigating the complex cancer care
ecosystem. She is an LP in three healthcare innovation funds and has extensive experience
bringing breakthrough treatments and technologies to patients across global markets, including
sub-Saharan Africa.
Vinona is passionate about advancing women’s health innovation at the intersection of
oncology, digital health, and precision medicine. She holds a medical degree and completed her
oncology fellowship at UCSF, and earned her MPH from Harvard School of Public Health.
