Position Overview
Springboard is seeking a creative, mission-driven Head of Marketing. Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Marketing will enhance Springboard’s program growth and fundraising efforts and ultimately expand our network of investors and community of entrepreneurs. The Head of Marketing will enhance engagement with our current community, build a team of high-performing marketing experts, and exceed Springboard’s development goals. The position requires a hands-on leader—a seasoned marketer with cutting-edge strategies and insights who can successfully manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
The Head of Marketing will develop and strengthen Springboard’s brand identity and promote the organization’s influence and reach by creating marketing materials, brand guidelines, website content, and print collateral that communicate Springboard’s unique value.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote Springboard’s unique mission among current and potential entrepreneurs and sponsors.
- Manage Springboard’s digital marketing efforts and assets. Leverage social media, email marketing, website, and print content to build brand awareness and expand engagement.
- Create marketing campaigns that engage Springboard’s current portfolio of corporate sponsors and entrepreneurs and strengthen our program.
- Ideate and manage Springboard’s digital marketing campaigns with the goal of expanding reach to potential corporate supporters and entrepreneurs, and engaging with its current community of sponsors and entrepreneurs.
- Manage and communicate with media outlets to promote Springboard’s events and value proposition.
- Collaborate with and support the Director of Development to launch and manage successful fundraising campaigns with the goal of initiating, cultivating, and extending relationships with the organization’s portfolio of individual, foundation, and corporate supporters.
- Develop partnership programs to extend Springboard’s reach within the investor, startup, and accelerator communities.
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics and develop plans to optimize marketing spend and campaigns based on data.
- Identify, manage and develop a team of high-performing marketing professionals.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, advanced degree a plus
- Five years+ of of Marketing leadership experience in a corporate setting and/or a non-profit or foundation
- Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms
- Proven success supporting fundraising for development efforts
- Proven success developing and managing marketing campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing marketing teams and budgets
