Vice President, Programs

Springboard is seeking a strategic leader with experience in Startup Accelerators, Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital, or other similar programs for early-stage companies that have sought or received mentorship, funding, and access to a network of investors and industry experts.
What You’ll Do:
The VP of Programs will provide strategic direction and successful management of all of Springboard’s accelerator program areas, including Technology, Women’s Health, Healthcare and Health Tech, and new programs in sustainability and climate. In partnership with the leadership team, this position will drive the growth of Springboard’s accelerator offerings, manage the program team, drive revenue growth and manage operations related to programming services.
Program Leadership and Management:
- Ensure that Springboard’s programs are competitive, valuable to cohort participants, and attract the best applicants. Currently, Springboard offers three accelerator cohorts per year and is planning on adding two more in 2026.
- Build relationships with Springboard Alumnae and cohort members; proactively meet the needs of our women entrepreneurs.
- Creatively recruit and evaluate the top women entrepreneurs for each cohort. ·
- Critically evaluate programs based on participant feedback.
- Develop with your team top notch accelerator educational components.
- Ensure recruitment and retention of top subject matter experts for each accelerator to effectively serve the needs of our entrepreneurs.
- Work with the team to identify and secure top subject matter experts for our workshops.
- Improve advisors’ value and standing in the community and their understanding of the role.
- Serve as a speaker /representative for Springboard external programs.
- Enhance organization’s profile by representing the organization at industry conferences and events.
Program Partnerships:
- Raise revenue through sponsorships with top corporate allies.
- Work with the Director of Development to raise awareness of programs to potential donors.
- Partner with outside organizations to bring diversity, varied perspectives, and value add programming to Springboard accelerator programs.
- Develop a comprehensive investor program that extends Springboard services to investor matching for our cohorts.
Who You Are:
The right candidate will bring integrity, positivity, and a self-directed work style. They will bring a passion for Springboard’s mission and an entrepreneurial spirit to the role. Other qualifications include:
- 7-10 years of program leadership in an incubator, accelerator, successful (scaled) startup, Venture Capital and/or other startup ecosystems offering mentoring, advisory, fundraising, and/or educational support.
- Nonprofit experience is highly desirable. Understands the dynamics of working with a Board of Directors.
- Strategic thinker – you see the big picture but know how to execute it.
- Demonstrated experience:
