Organizations Team Up to Showcase 9 Women Entrepreneurs and Founders to Global Audience
WASHINGTON, DC: MARCH 10, 2021 – Springboard Enterprises and the London Stock Exchange came together on March 8 – International Women’s Day – to host World Funding Women, a series of virtual events to elevate, promote, and celebrate women entrepreneurs from around the world. The two organizations hosted 3 virtual global events featuring 9 woman innovators during one 24-hour period.
“For two decades, Springboard has successfully worked to accelerate the growth of entrepreneurial companies founded and led by women,” said Springboard Enterprises CEO Natalie Buford-Young. “We’re honored to showcase these 9 innovative women during such a highly visible global event like International Women’s Day and connect them with support and expertise to help them grow and scale their businesses.”
“This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is ‘break the bias,’” said London Stock Exchange CEO Julia Hoggett. “One of the themes we want to celebrate this week is female empowerment and entrepreneurship, and to seek to directly address the bias that still exists in the access female entrepreneurs have to capital and therefore their own pathways to economic empowerment. Women are no less dynamic and have no fewer remarkable ideas, and deserve to have an infrastructure around them to give them an equal opportunity to turn their ideas into tangible business outcomes.”

Springboard Helps Women Entrepreneurs and Founders Grow and Scale Their Businesses
As they pitched their companies to a panel of experts, several of the entrepreneurs explained how participating in a Springboard innovation cohort helped them grow and scale their businesses.
“Springboard helped us by providing us the expertise in areas we needed help the most,” said RegAlytics Founder and CEO Mary Kopczynski, J.D./Ph.D. “Just one conversation with a Springboard Advisor that was hand-selected for us really helped us re-think the way we were marketing the product. It made all the difference in helping us triple revenue three years in a row.”
“Springboard and its sponsors and collaborating partners, such as Project W, have been a key support system for me,” said Peer Ledger Founder and CEO Dawn Jutla. “I’ve been delighted to obtain introductions to extraordinary women, great ideas, and valuable feedback as Peer Ledger grows its ESG platform.”
“Springboard sharpened my vision for my company, facilitated and made key introductions, and most importantly, continues to renew my faith to persevere, despite barriers and obstacles,” said Stratus Digital Systems CEO Greta Geankoplis. “Thank you, Team Springboard!”
