Rachel Rong joined our operations team in April 2019. Prior to joining Springboard, Rachel worked at two marketplace startups — Uber and Handy. At Handy (acquired by ANGI Homeservice) in New York, she focused on improving the quality and liquidity of the marketplace and ensuring that customers had a wonderful experience on the platform. Meanwhile, Rachel also improved the experience for the cleaning professionals, which were primarily women. Before that, Rachel worked at Uber and helped launch Uber EATs during its early stage. Rachel received her Masters from George Washington University. Rachel was born and raised in Shanghai, China.
