Tim Lew is a Director of Early-Stage Life Science Startups at Silicon Valley Bank in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, he mentors and advises startups at the earliest stages of their journey, connecting them to the broader SVB ecosystem and accelerating their progress toward Series funding goals through company building and fundraising strategies.
Before joining SVB, Tim spent 16 years in the medical device industry, focusing on early commercialization. From sales to surgeon training to sales leadership, he played an integral role in bringing medical devices from concept to the operating room and helping them become the ‘gold standard’ of care. He is excited to bring this experience to SVB’s startup banking team, helping founders find success.
